1. How long does shipping take?

Most US orders ship within 2–5 business days from our fulfillment centers. Standard delivery takes 7–14 business days depending on your location. Expedited (3–7 days) and Priority (2–4 days) options are available at checkout. International shipping is available to select countries with 14–30 business day delivery. Tracking is included on every order — check your email (including spam) for the shipping confirmation.

2. What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window on unused items in original packaging. Email returns@hearthandhidegoods.com with your order number to start a return. US returns include a $7.50 return shipping label fee, deducted from your refund. Damaged or defective items are eligible for free replacement or full refund — no return required. 3. How do I know what size to order for my pet?

Each product page includes a detailed size chart with weight and breed recommendations. For orthopedic beds, measure your dog from nose to tail while standing, then add 6–10 inches. Most large breeds (50+ lbs) do best in our large 36"x27" bed. Cats and small dogs under 15 lbs are well-served by the medium 24"x18". 4. Are your products safe for pets and kids?

Yes. Our pet beds use CertiPUR-US certified memory foam and OEKO-TEX certified fabrics (free from harmful substances). Our candles are 100% soy wax with cotton wicks, no paraffin or synthetic fragrance oils. Our cutting boards, bowls, and cooking tools are BPA-free and food-safe. We test every product in homes with pets and small children before we list it.

5. Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messages?

Yes! At checkout, look for the "This is a gift" option. We offer a $4 gift wrap with a kraft box, twine, and handwritten card. Your gift message (up to 200 characters) is included on a small card. 6. Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

We're selectively onboarding wholesale partners for 2026. We work with small boutiques, dog daycares, and interior designers. Minimum first order is $500. Email hello@hearthandhidegoods.com with subject "Wholesale" and include your business name, website, and a brief description of your store.

7. Where are your products made?

Our products are designed in Kentucky and sourced through a curated set of manufacturing partners. Many of our kitchen goods (cast iron, ceramics, stoneware) come from family-run factories in China and Vietnam with decades of experience. Our textiles (linen throws, cotton macrame) come from established mills in India and Portugal. All products are quality-inspected at our US fulfillment center before shipping. We do not source from any factory with documented labor violations.

8. How sustainable are your products?

Sustainability to us means: products that last. We don't sell disposables. Our cast iron, stoneware, brass, bamboo, and solid wood goods are built to outlive trends. We use minimal, recyclable packaging — no plastic clamshells, no unnecessary inserts. We carbon-offset all US shipping. Our pet bed covers are machine-washable to extend the life of the foam core. We're a small company and we're not perfect — we publish our packaging and shipping impact annually.

9. Do I need an account to order?

No. Guest checkout is available. Creating an account lets you track orders, save addresses, and earn early access to new products and sales. We never sell or rent your data. See our [Privacy Policy](/policies/privacy-policy) for details.

10. Something arrived damaged. What do I do?

We're sorry. Email shipping@hearthandhidegoods.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and 2–3 photos of the damage. We'll send a free replacement (we'll cover return shipping if we need the original back) or issue a full refund including original shipping. No return required in most cases. We replace every damaged item — we don't argue, we don't require you to repackage, we just make it right.
