We want you to love your Hearth & Hide purchase. If you're not satisfied, we're here to help.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from delivery to request a return. Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags attached.
Non-Returnable Items
- Gift cards
- Personal care items (opened)
- Custom or personalized items
- Items marked "Final Sale"
How to Request a Return
Email returns@hearthandhidegoods.com with your order number and reason. We'll send a return label (US only; $7.50 deducted from refund).
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you about approval. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days with photos. We'll send a free replacement or issue a full refund (including shipping). No return required.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, check with your bank. Still not there? Email us.
Exchanges
We don't offer direct exchanges. Return the original item (per policy above) and place a new order.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping is non-refundable. Return shipping is deducted from refund unless item was damaged/defective.
Five common return scenarios
1. "It doesn't match my kitchen." We get it. Photos lie. Email returns@ for a return label. Once we receive the item in original condition, we refund the full purchase price minus the $7.50 return shipping.
2. "The dog bed is too small." We size it generously but every dog is different. If our 36"x27" large is too small for your Great Dane, return the unused bed (we'll send a label) and we'll refund in full. Or, we can apply your purchase to a larger size — email us and we'll work it out.
3. "It arrived damaged." Don't return it. Just send 2–3 photos to shipping@ within 7 days. We replace every damaged item. We don't make you repackage. We don't make you wait. We make it right.
4. "I changed my mind." Within 30 days, in original packaging, you can return anything. We refund the purchase price minus return shipping.
5. "The tracking says delivered but it's not here." Wait 48 hours (carriers often mark packages early). If still missing, email shipping@ with your order number. We file a carrier investigation and replace or refund if not located within 7 days.
