Ceramic Dinnerware Set 16pc — Service for 4, Matte Glaze
Sixteen pieces of everyday stoneware — four dinner plates, four salad plates, four bowls, and four mugs — finished in a soft matte glaze that feels like the inside of an eggshell. The shapes are generous without being precious: the dinner plate is 10.5" across, deep enough to hold pasta and sauce; the bowl is 6" and 2" deep, which means cereal stays cereal and soup stays soup; the mug is 14 oz, a real mug, not a teacup in disguise.
The set is built for daily use. It's dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and stackable — the plates nest to about half the height of a comparable set, which matters in a small kitchen. The matte glaze wears in over the first few months of use, picking up a slight patina on the rims where you stack and unstack. We think that patina is the point.

The story We registered the company six months after our first kid was born, which is when we started needing dinnerware that survived being dropped, heated, stacked, and re-stacked 1,200 times a year. The first set we made it through was the prototype for this one. We broke two mugs. We have replaced the dog bowl, the cat bowl, and most of the spatulas. The plates are still in the cabinet.
