Linen Curtain Panel 84-Inch — Rod Pocket, Light Filtering
An 84-inch linen curtain panel that filters light without blocking it — the difference between "I want to keep the sun off the floor" and "I want a cave in here." The linen is a 165 gsm weight, which is the sweet spot for a panel that drapes cleanly but still lets in a soft, even light. The weave is a basketweave, not a plain weave, which gives it a slightly looser texture and a visible grain.
The top has a 3-inch rod pocket that fits a standard 1.25" curtain rod, and a back tab if you want to hang it with rings instead. The hem is double-folded and double-stitched — the kind of detail that keeps the bottom edge from puckering after a year of hanging. The 84" length is the standard for a floor-to-ceiling window, or a window hung 6" above the floor.

Care Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang to dry while still slightly damp to minimize wrinkles. Iron on low for a pressed look; otherwise, the natural wrinkle is part of the linen.

The story The first linen curtain we tested was 95 gsm, which sounds like a number that means nothing but actually meant the panel was translucent in a way that turned the bedroom into a 6 AM sunbeam. The fix was 165 gsm — the panel now softens the light, which is what a linen curtain is supposed to do, and what a sheer curtain is not.
