🫕 Cast Iron
Seasoning
Your skillet arrives pre-seasoned with organic flaxseed oil. Cook with it the day it arrives — no extra prep needed. To re-season every 6-12 months: wipe a thin layer of oil on, place upside-down in a 450°F oven for one hour, let it cool in the oven.
Cleaning
Hot water, stiff brush, a drop of soap if you need it. Dry on the stove over low heat for a minute. Rub a thin layer of oil on while still warm. Never dishwasher, never air-dry wet.
Storing
Store dry, lid off (or paper towel between pan and lid) so air circulates. Stack with paper towels between pans.
🧺 Linen
Washing
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, similar colors. Mild detergent — skip bleach and fabric softener. Linen gets softer with every wash, so wash often.
Drying
Tumble dry low, or hang to dry. Linen dries fast and is naturally wrinkle-resistant. For a crisp look, iron while slightly damp.
🍶 Ceramics
Daily care
Most stoneware is dishwasher and microwave safe. Reactive glazes may show subtle variation piece to piece — that's a feature, not a defect. To prevent thermal shock, don't take a piece from freezer straight into a hot oven. Let it come to room temperature first.

Covers
Covers unzip for machine washing. Cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low. The orthopedic foam insert should be spot-cleaned only — submerging damages the foam.
Quick answers
Can I use metal utensils on cast iron?
Yes. Metal utensils won't hurt a well-seasoned pan. If you scratch the seasoning, just re-season that spot — it'll heal.
Will my linen shrink?
Pre-washed linen shrinks about 3-5% on the first wash and then stops. We account for this in our sizing, so what you get is what you keep.
Is the stoneware oven-safe?
Yes, to 450°F. Avoid thermal shock (freezer to hot oven) — let pieces come to room temperature first.
