30-day return window
Unused, unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment method. Sale items are also eligible for return within 30 days.
How to start a return
Email hello@hearthandhidegoods.com with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return. We'll send you a prepaid return label (US orders only) within 1 business day.
Refund timing
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. Your bank may take an additional 5-10 business days to post the credit to your account.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong item, email us with a photo within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement (if in stock) or issue a full refund at no cost to you — your choice.
Made-to-order items
Made-to-order items (noted on the product page) are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective. If you need to cancel a made-to-order item, email within 24 hours of placing the order.
Pet beds
Pet beds are returnable within 30 days if unused and in original packaging. Once a pet bed has been used (pet hair, scratches, etc.), it's no longer eligible for return unless defective.
Gift returns
Gift recipients who need to make a return: email hello@hearthandhidegoods.com with the order number or gift receipt. We'll process the return and refund the original purchaser.
